PASER RINGING IN THE CANYON OF THE SPRING

On May 29 evening and next day morning we were ringed Carraixet and the truth is that for me it was a surprise remarkable productivity that was.

For anyone who has not ever been Carraixet ravine is a promenade that formerly was completely wild and one time now has been channeled artificially.

The part that is being regenerated as an ecosystem is about three miles long, the closest to its mouth, and just 50 m. wide.

currently Banding Study Group and the Lagoon has a banding station PASER of Raul Vera that is responsible and who are getting great results.

banding activity carried out on 29 and 30 lasted only 6 hours 19:00 to 22:00 pm on 29 and from 7:00 to 10:00 am on 30 and the results were as follows:

We will try to gradually develop a table with the number of species appearing and Index Simpson Diversity Index see how it evolves as it catches happen. So far: I = 0.88
